Data Scientist/Systems Engineer

Role Overview: KBR is seeking an organized and proactive Data Scientist to support our U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Land Imaging (NLI) Program customer in Reston, VA. This critical role is part of the Requirements, Capabilities, and Analysis for Earth Observation (RCA-EO) contract, which is dedicated to gathering the needs of remote sensing scientists, modeling remote sensing capabilities, and producing comprehensive decision-support analyses. These efforts directly inform the National Land Imaging Program’s strategic investments, particularly concerning the Landsat Mission.
This position operates out of the Washington, DC metropolitan area and offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
The RCA-EO contract provides a dynamic opportunity to shape the future of national land imaging and play a pivotal part in the continuing success of the Landsat Mission. If you are passionate about remote sensing and strategic program management, we invite you to apply.
