Main Purpose:
Consolidation, Tax and Budget planning, Overheads allocation are three work streams that will be managed with OneStream EPM tool widely integrated with a large number of peripheral applications in Trafigura landscape. OneStream will be vital for Management and Statutory reporting for the Trafigura Group and will always be change/data sensitive. It demands complete ownership, high level of accountability and integrity from the resources, understanding Trafigura landscape and evaluating completeness, robustness, extensibility of the solution being implemented both functionally and technically. OneStream implementation has a very distinct model of Co-Building the app where vendor partners work closely with Business teams to build the solution. EPM SME skills and build Product knowledge in high integrated environment starting from the Build phase of the project and generating more synergy between the Business and IT. This requires a long-term commitment to reap the benefits of developed, transitioned techno-functional knowledge over time for BAU Support, Enhancement releases, Security patching and release upgrades that OneStream being a cloud product is bound with, in set periodic intervals which is important to be assessed for any impact and regression from both IT and Business Building product side knowledge will also contribute significantly in achieving high standards of quality assurance on the overall delivery and reducing sole dependency on business for product testing, allowing them to focus on key areas.

Key Responsibilities
Participate and Learn from Co-Building the application
- Build (OneStream application) together with implementation partner and business.
- Understand Product configurations, solution design, flows, integrations
- Provide IT expertise in managing and defining Data migration runbook and help translate business Data migration complexities to IT in simplified form.
Application Patching, Release Upgrades and impact analysis
- Analyze application security patches and share potential impact on the standard functionalities as well as customizations build in the product from IT perspective with Business system analyst for validation.
- Liaise with Business system analyst on recommended Release upgrade patching. Mutually agree on IT and Business side impact to proceed with patch application to the environment.
Business Analysis and Change Management
- Business Requirements, perform Fit-Gap, Cost benefit analysis, facilitate communication, collaborate with business stakeholders and system analysts, align business requirements to organizational IT strategy.
- Review changes for Production releases.
Validate Solution Design, BAU Support and Documentation
- Design IT solutions in an highly integrated environment and map legacy systems to new transformation products.
- Understanding and building business process workflows and Security controls. Propose practical and innovative solutions, document process flows, user cases, stories and suggest improvements.
- Provides high level of support to Business and system analyst during the implementation phase and BAU for peripheral systems. Assist System analysts in troubleshooting.
- Creates a knowledge base in confluence with relevant information captured in documents.
- Coach and Mentor the vendor functional team members for the assigned work stream.
- Support Technical Developers in discussions on future enhancements like
- ESG reporting needs especially with IT specifications and Solution Design.
Quality Assurance
- Validate quality, flexibility of solution being implemented for current and future needs.
- SIT ensuring business needs are met, align with design agreed and works well with integrated platforms.
- Independent Review of the Build and SIT.
- Preparing SIT Test cases and performing Instream/Cumulative testing.
- Provide inputs in validating and enhancing regression test pack for QA.
- Provide functional inputs and assist QA team to build automation.
Competencies
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology or a related field.
- Master in Business Administration preferably in Finance. Understanding of Accounting standards, ability to understand Management reporting both Internal and External. Fundamentals of consolidation, budget planning and allocation.
Experience
- 10+ years of total experience.
- 2+ years of proven experience in EPM (OneStream) implementation experience as a Functional lead.
- 3+ years of experience with ERP implementation and integration with EPM is a BIG Plus. Atleast one integration project with ERP is must.
- Techno-Functional Subject Matter Expert skills are highly regarded.
- 3+ years of experience with Product testing and supporting QA in an highly integrated environment.
Skills
- OneStream EPM Techno-functional skills in implementing Consolidation, Tax, Overheads planning.
- Ability to interpret and articulate Business Requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of principals of cloud-based platforms including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
- Ability to design IT solutions in an highly integrated environment and map legacy systems to new transformation products.
- Ability to understand programming languages. Preferably C#, Database query language, VB.Net, Javascript is an add on.
- Understanding of Data Conversion and Migration from legacy applications to newly implemented applications.
- Proficiency in project management softwares (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong financial acumen especially Group reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Work Environment
- This position typically operates in a professional office environment. Some travel will be required depending on project needs and stakeholder locations.
