Job Description Summary:
You will serve as a Standard Procurement System (SPS)/Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD²) functional Help Desk Analyst providing support to the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) from a site in Fairfax, VA. You will perform analysis of business and/or systems processes to identify improvements for our client.
Job Description:
The analyst role must demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a team. Additionally, must demonstrate strong skills in oral and written communication with clients, as well as internal and external team members. They must also possess the ability to successfully work with concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities.
The analyst must possesses specialized experience in providing support for business software solutions or IT systems. They must have experience working directly with customers to analyze and resolve issues.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide user support for both technical and functional issues as it relates to the SPS Suite of Software
Leverage all resources to research customer issues
Ability to discern when to escalate customer issues
Act as a support role to senior team members in order to research and resolve complex customer issues
Support includes the analysis of customer-hosted systems which contain relational databases
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
Must have a Current Secret Clearance
Must live within commuting distance to the DC Metro area for occasional on site visits
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:
· Experience using Procurement Desktop Defense Software highly desirable
· Government Contract Specialist (GS 1102 series) experience highly desirable
· Experience working on government contracts and understanding the contracting process
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
· Ability to react to customer issues and formulate resolutions quickly
· University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience
*Experience with DoD contracting or procurement (Ideal experience includes government contract writing, PD² or other Acquisition System experience)

The proposed salary range for this position is:
