  • Monday to Friday regular shifts with 8-hour schedules between 5 am and 6 pm with the possibility of overtime and on-call pay.

What you will do 

You will operate the building, systems and equipment for optimal comfort and effective use of the facility for all users.  Ensuring all building and process equipment is maintained and operating efficiently. 

How you will do it 

  • Regular rounds and inspections of building and process equipment, Preventative Maintenance
  • Monitor BMS, make adjustments on BMS or at equipment as needed
  • Respond to alarms of building and process equipment
  • Ensure sub-contractors are following policies
  • Call out, schedule and Coordinated sub-contractors for various work
  • Routine filter changes
  • Monitor tank levels and tank integrity for leaks
  • Coordinate regular inspections
  • Coordinate monthly reports
  • Snow removal for safe travel of the occupants
  • Monitoring and order pick up of waste
  • Coordinate, schedule and supervise major repairs, overhauls, Life Cycle projects and Ad Hoc jobs
  • Stand by Call out as per schedule, Respond as required
  • Respond to demand request events and respond on time and rectify in a timely manner
  • Tool and Spare parts inventory management
  • Ensure clean working area and facility
  • Calibration of meters and detectors as required

What we look for

Required 

  • Building Operators Ticket, Trade certification or equivalent experience
  • Four to seven years of relevant experience
  • Mobile machinery experience an asset (Skid Steer, work platforms, etc.)
  • Jack of all trades, trouble shoot and fix equipment as required
  • Regular routs, inspections and reports
  • Tool and Spare parts inventory
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Compressed Natural Gas experience an asset
