This Position reports to:

Senior Digital Solution Engineering Spec

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development.

This role is contributing to Process Industries division in Process Automation business based out of Bangalore Location, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• You as a MES Application Developer for Process Industry Digital will be associated with Process Industries operations team within INOPC-PA that is responsible for executing and delivering Digital solution across the globe for customers of Process Industries that consist of Metals, Mining, Aluminum, Cement, Pulp & Paper Industry.

• Your responsibility will be to implement and provide after sales service for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) /

• Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM) / Smart Manufacturing Operations Management (SMOM) solutions for Process Industries, including Metals, Cement, Pulp& Paper, Food & Beverage Industries. You will either work as a team member of the project deployment team that is responsible for the delivery of the solution to end customer, or as a service engineer who will be responsible for maintaining the solution remotely at customer premises after it is deployed.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in development and/or deployment of industrial software solutions for manufacturing industry or similar.

• Hands on experience of Relational database Oracle, PL/SQL, time series database, reporting tools (Crystal, SAP BO).

• Good technical knowledge of SSRS, Web Services, TFS, IIS .- good Have

• Must have strong analytical skills .

• Must have strong communication skill (English) and proven track record of customer focus and stakeholder management

• Functional knowledge of MES solutions or Process knowledge of Pulp & Paper industry will be an added advantage.
