About the opportunity:

Uspace is Australia’s first private mental health service, targeted to the needs of young adults aged 16 to 30.

Within a purpose-built mental health facility with 20 single rooms, day services and on-site consulting suites, their mission is to promote the recovery and psychological wellbeing of young adults with severe and emerging mental health problems.

Their program delivery extends beyond psychiatric consultations and psychological group therapy. They provide person-centred care and cutting-edge interventions in a safe, therapeutic and engaging environment that has been specifically designed by award winning architects and interior designers. 

We are seeking a casual nurse with Mental Health experience to join this multi-disciplinary team.

Things that work for us

• Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
• Willingness to be able to work different shift patterns - days and nights
• Minimum 3 years' experience in mental health nursing (adolescence desirable)
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills at all levels enabling you to achieve best practice
• You will understand the importance of providing quality care, and you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact
• If on a working holiday visa - that you have 6 months plus left
