The Opportunity


CACI has an excellent opportunity for a Enterprise Architect supporting the Enterprise Level Information Technology Expertise (ELITE) contract at the United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM) located in Stuttgart, Germany.  This position is required to travel OCONUS.
 

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to translate business strategy into a comprehensive enterprise architecture and IT service roadmap.
  • Service Strategy Development: Define and manage the IT service portfolio, ensuring all services are designed for business outcomes, cost-efficiency, and strategic alignment.
  • Architecture Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and engineering principles across the organization to ensure consistency, security, and quality.
  • Cloud Architecture Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of our cloud-first strategy, providing expert guidance on cloud architecture


Qualifications


Required

  • Active Secret Clerance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture role (Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or Cloud Architect)
  • ITIL Certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation, ITIL 4 Managing Professional)
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into strategic IT roadmaps and architectural blueprints.
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and extensive experience designing and deploying cloud-native solutions.
  • Strong background in solution architecture, with a demonstrated ability to design complex, multi-system solutions that are secure, resilient, and scalable.
  • Deep understanding of modern engineering principles, including DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and microservices architecture.


Desired
 

  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT governance and service management frameworks like ITIL.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build consensus across the organization.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$108,400 - 227,500 USD
