Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, 4:00 PM-12:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $24.00 an hour + $$0.40 shift differential

Primary duties and responsibilities (List each job duty or responsibility, which is critical to the successful performance of the job.)

  • Ensure all equipment and utensils used in the manufacture of product is returned to sanitary conditions at the end of a production run. Specific duties vary based on line requirements.
  • Pump chemical, rinse and sanitizer through all lines run that day
  • Calculate appropriate chemical concentrations for the application.
  • Use Floor scrubber
  • Inspect Coolers and Freezers for debris and spills
  • Empty Lab waste and trash. Ensure cans remain in sanitary condition.
  • Bring Chemical from chemical cage to point of use.
  • Chemical Inventory. (First and Last day of week)
  • Empty and rinse all trash hoppers, waste drums/totes
  • Clean Compactor area (Once a week or as needed)
  • Clean Chemical Cage (One a week or as needed)
  • All waste removed from filler area.
  • All waste/reclaim drums labels removed
  • Clean debris from drain baskets (Once a week)
  • Clean and fill all foot cleaning stations (Daily)
  • Place Sani Step at ramp or ensure foamer fill (Daily)
  • Calculate appropriate chemical concentrations for the application.
  • Other duties as assigned

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR ROLE:

  • Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job.
  • Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  • Must know how to use a calculator
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended period of time.
  • Must understand and adhere to the “Good Manufacturing Procedures.
  • Must know SDS information regarding all materials used within the scope of the work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly dependable, motivated, and self-led.
  • Must be able to train and lead others.
  • Able to collaborate across various levels and functions both internal and external to the plant.
  • Basic computer skills are a must to start the role with the understanding that specialty skills will be built to an advanced level (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Alchemy, SAP, etc.).
  • Execute assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
  • Must participate in company & regulatory trainings.
  • Must meet the company performance standards for the job
  • Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
  • Forklift certified

Physical:

  • Standing, climbing, bending/twisting, pushing/pulling, reaching, walking, work in wet conditions, work in hot temperatures

Education:

  • High School diploma or proof of GED preferred.

OTHER:

This is an hourly position with a normal working schedule from Sunday – Thursday 4 pm - midnight. However, the owner’s schedule needs to be flexible to meet the business needs (i.e. training, info shares, investigations, root cause reviews, additional run dates, etc.)
