Job Summary:

We are seeking a Workday Data Conversion to manage and oversee the data conversion workstream as part of Workday implementation projects. This role is primarily responsible for managing the data loading process into Workday, while closely collaborating with client teams on data extraction and transformation activities, and with functional consultants to ensure accurate data mapping. The Data Conversion plays a key role in guiding the client through multiple conversion cycles, validating data quality, and ensuring that all migrated data supports successful Workday deployment across HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Financial modules. As a key consultant, the Integration will work closely with clients, functional teams, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and guide integration developers in delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Workday Studio, Workday Orchestrate, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and enterprise integration design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the data conversion workstream for Workday implementation projects..
  • Define overall data conversion strategy, scope, and timelines in alignment with project milestones.
  • Partner with client teams to support and validate legacy data extraction and transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and client teams to define field-level data mapping from legacy systems to Workday structures
  • Oversee preparation and execution of data loads into Workday using EIBs, iLoads, or other Workday tools.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple data load cycles (unit testing, parallel testing, UAT, and go-live).
  • Validate and reconcile loaded data using Workday reports and legacy system comparisons.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues, working with clients to remediate gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Provide leadership and hands-on support during cutover and post-go-live data validation.
  • Maintain documentation for conversion mapping rules, transformation logic, load tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for data conversion activities, ensuring alignment between technical, integration and functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • relevant years of experience in Workday data conversion or enterprise data migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of Workday data structures across HCM, Payroll, and/or Finance domains.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday data loading tools such as EIBs and iLoads.
  • Proven ability to lead data conversion efforts, including coordinating mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with legacy HRIS, Payroll, and Financial systems and their data structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience working in client-facing consulting roles and managing cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Below are the minimum Required Relevant Experience for the role :

  • 2+ years for Analyst/Senior Analyst 
  • 5+ years for Specialist/Team Lead/Consultant
