THE ROLE:

Our site in Colorado Springs is seeking a contract Manufacturing Operator to join our team.

The Manufacturing Operator position is responsible for the reworking of a foup plastic product, unpacking and taking the product to a clean room, changing filters, testing, logging information then repacking.

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION, WILL BE AN EMPLOYEE OF MANPOWER WORKING AT OUR SITE.  NO END CONTRACT DATE.  POSSIBILITY OF BEING CONVERTED TO A PERMANENT EMPLOYEE BASED ON PERFORMANCE.

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 7:00AM-3:30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Follow all safety rules and protocols at 100 percent adherence.
• Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Ensures product is consistent with established specifications. Escalates quality issues as appropriate. Ensures highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality system, ISO and/or other standards.
• Perform various operations on the product line in accordance with the work orders and process record instructions.
• Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and in timely (i.e. Production Reports, Labels, Process Records, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.). Completes hour by hour sheets on manufacturing products as required.
• Integrates all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6S, Kaizen events, etc.
• Perform setup and adjustments according to work instruction specifications.
• Accurately follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate and verify the performance of equipment and make necessary adjustments.
• Use of basic metrology equipment (Scales, calipers...) and basic math.
• Prioritize work in accordance with lead/supervisor direction.
• Keep the work area clean and organized. Following all 6S procedures.
• Monitor equipment and production to increase output and make recommendations for improvements.
• Assist staff with preparation and production,
• Move products, supply and inventory to support production.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

WHAT WE SEEK:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 1-year manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Good attention to detail; ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
• Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, repetitively twist, bend and reach upward and ha* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work in different environments.
• Ability to work as a team or group.
• Computer skills / Use of SAP data management is a plus.
• High level of interest in learning new skills, especially lean manufacturing techniques.

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Compensation: $19.50-$21.00 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
