Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

  • Maintains storage and distribution of product by pulling orders from warehouse to staging / shipping area; or re-stocking products on shelves. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Locates parts by pulling and verifying product numbers listed on pick orders.
  • Receives materials verifies quantity; placing materials in stock
  • Prepares stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and staging product
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Pack, print labels and prepare orders for shipping
  • Print BOLs and other shipping documents from WMS.
  • Loads trucks in accordance with all Safe Loading Practices and TDG regulations.
  • Cover for the Shipper in their absence
  • Operate powered, mobile / lifting equipment for order picking of bulk items.  This position will primarily operate an Reach Truck, Walkie Rider and Stock Chaser
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed



Expertise & Essential Skills:

  • Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset
  • Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts)
  • Must be capable of lift parts up to 50 pounds (23kg)
  • Ability to work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts)
  • Ability to work with Powered lifting devices such as Reach truck, Walkie Rider and Stock Chasers and have passed a CSA approved Forklift training course within the past 3 years.  Experience with Reach Truck is required. Will provide practical training for a suitable applicant on remaining equipment. Must pass practical competency test on all equipment that will be operated
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Computer literacy (mandatory)
  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset
  • Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours
  • Organized and self disciplined
  • Task oriented
  • Diplomatic and tactful in communication
  • Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers.
