This role involves conducting monthly expense tracking, developing forecasts, and managing the annual budget process. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure financial requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Expenses Tracking, Reporting and Analysis
Conduct various financial analyses and expense tracking to support management strategies and decision making on regular or ad hoc basis.
Collaborate with Regional office and HK business units/department to compile expenses analysis, forecast and month end reporting
2. Forecasts and Plan
Coordinate the preparation of the forecasts and budget. As part of the planning and forecasting process, the incumbent will be required to provide in-depth analysis, issue identification and actual tracking against the Forecast and Plan. Works closely with business unit representatives to manage the timeline, deliverables, and analysis associated with the forecast and plan.
3. Projects
Special projects will arise from time to time that will require detailed analysis of financial information. The incumbent may be expected to take a role in participating such projects in Hong Kong.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (CA or CPA)
6+ years of finance/accounting experience and prior exposure in insurance industry
Willing to take ownership and follow-through
Good analytical skills, able to work under pressure, dynamic working environment and multi-tasking
Enjoy interacting with others and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good team player and able to deal with large quantity of data with high accuracy and tight timeline
Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Fairly in Mandarin
