Position Purpose: Assist with managing and overseeing daily workflow including entering, clarifying, and requesting prescriptions. Ensure compliance with company goals, policies, and all other regulations.

  • Assist in managing daily tasks and workflows.
  • Prioritize and assign tasks to pharmacy technicians
  • Provide guidance to pharmacy technicians on quality assurance monitoring and productivity standards
  • Provide recommendations for training needs and assist in developing training manuals and job aids.
  • Train pharmacy technicians on daily tasks
  • Work with pharmacist/advisor, and other departments to ensure referral are accurate and timely
  • Assist in resolving escalated issues pertaining to Order Entry Department
  • Assist in running Order Entry department reports to document productivity and ensure compliance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education/Experience: 3+ years of pharmacy technician experience within a retail, hospital, or mail order pharmacy environment. Exposure to specialty pharmacy prescriptions preferred. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.

Licenses/Certifications: Current state’s Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license

AcariaHealth: State pharmacy technician license(s) relative to where the employee and assigned pharmacy are located (exception being NY where a pharmacy technician license is not required). License is required upon hire.

Pay Range: $18.66 - $31.73 per hour
