eCommerce Analytics Intern (icebreaker)

What will you do?

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst Intern to join our eCommerce team. This role offers hands-on experience in analyzing digital performance, optimizing online customer experiences, and supporting data-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to help improve site presentation, conversion rates, and overall business performance.

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting eCommerce data to identify trends and opportunities.

• Support the development of dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as traffic, conversion, and revenue.

• Collaborate with UX, marketing, and technology teams to document requirements for site enhancements.

• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform eCommerce strategies.

• Participate in testing and quality assurance for new site features and functionality.

• Help prepare presentations and insights for leadership and stakeholders.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the eCommerce workflow.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

• Basic understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital analytics (Google Analytics experience preferred).

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Location requirement and duration: This is a temporary position for up to 12 weeks, in-person, and is a 40 hour/week position requiring 3 days/week at our Denver office, 9am-5pm MT Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
