Global Channel Business Management Lead

Job Summary 
This role is responsible for leading the Channel business management, performance tracking, and governance team across the Global Commercial Channel Enablement (GCCE) organization, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and market delivery. 

The team partners closely with Markets, Category, Finance, Enterprise Operations and GRO Management stakeholders to drive disciplined performance management, consistent KPI tracking, and execution governance. The role enables leadership decision-making by translating complex business data into actionable insights and ensuring that strategic priorities are effectively deployed and tracked across regions. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead business performance management frameworks, including KPI definition, tracking, and reporting across GCCE and Markets 
  • Drive governance model and execution discipline, ensuring consistent follow-up of strategic initiatives and leadership priorities 
  • Partner with Markets and channel business management stakeholders to monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions
  • Ensure alignment and consistency across channel performance tracking, sell-through, and partner-driven metrics  
  • Consolidate and translate data from multiple sources into clear insights and executive-ready recommendations  
  • Lead business reviews and governance forums (e.g., MBRs, QBRs), ensuring alignment and actionable outcomes  
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across categories, channel, finance, and strategy teams to enable consistent execution  
  • Support business planning processes, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives, financial plans, and execution tracking 
  • Drive the transformation of performance management and governance frameworks, improving visibility, consistency, and effectiveness of business decision-making across the organisation 
  • Act as a key interface with senior leadership, influencing decisions through data-driven insights and structured analysis

Impact & Scope

  • Impacts multiple functions across CO, including Markets, Categories, and cross-functional teams  
  • Drives visibility and accountability of business performance through structured governance and KPI frameworks  
  • Enables consistent execution and decision-making across regions by orchestrating performance management and governance processes  
  • Plays a key role in transforming performance management and governance capabilities across the organisation  
  • Influences senior leadership decisions through insights, without direct ownership of execution teams 

Education and Experience Required

  • Broad experience of working routinely with Senior Executives (L2, L1 levels) and preparing executive-level financial analysis and communication 
  • Country and International (Market or Region) experience in Channel Sales, Commercial Channel, Distribution and Retail Management. 
  • Mastery of Channel KPIs (Sales, Inventory, Coverage, Productivity) 
  • Considered a plus: working knowledge of HP Systems: ChannelVault, PSP, CSP, GTM360 
  • Leading high performance teams 
  • MBA highly desired, or advanced university degree. Master’s degree required.

  • Cross Functional Management: Manages by influence and provides thought leadership to cross functional team and extended organization. 
  • Change Management' Develops methods for supporting innovation and change across the organization. 
  • Problem Solving- Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensures comprehensive understanding and effective resolution. 
  • Communication: Communicates effectively and can articulate HP Channel Strategy and vision both internally and externally.
