Overview:
The Sr. Director of Insights & Empowerment (I&E) Project Management is responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of critical projects and initiatives across the I&E business unit. This leader will drive organizational excellence, collaborate across functions and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role will also serve as the primary communications support for the President of I&E. This role will report directly to the VP, Chief of Staff and play a critical role in achieving the strategic objectives in I&E.
Example of work includes:
Tracking and acceleration of strategic initiatives – Assist with multi-year planning process including strategic initiative identification with I&E, translation to metrics (MITs, OKRs, KPIs) with teams, enforcing tracking against said metrics, and assisting with reporting progress upwards (Quarterly Process – OpComm offsite, DASH, Board).
Communications – Build a communications strategy to include all the different touchpoints to keep the organization informed; on point for all communications required by the President of I&E as it relates to Board, OpComm and External.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project management strategies that align with I&E overall goals and objectives. Work closely with senior leaders to establish project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
Oversee multiple high-impact BU projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to project plans, milestones and budgets. Identify potential risks and barriers and develop mitigation strategies. Key role in high impact projects through maintaining takeaways, tracking progress with relevant stakeholders.
Support and execution of high profile projects for the BU President, CEO, and Board which can sometimes be hard to foresee but which are always needle-moving. The person in this role would have great exposure to a variety of challenging, important projects that link directly to our Long Range Plan.
Collaborate effectively with individuals at various levels, including senior leaders, IT, external partners, and clients. Communicate roles and responsibilities, progress, issues and successes keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.
Proactively identify and manage project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies as needed, escalate critical issues as appropriate to executive management and project sponsors.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements for quality, timing and client satisfaction.
Drive cost-effective project delivery, including budget management and accurate financial reporting.
Evaluate project performance against established KPI’s and metrics. Analyze outcomes and conduct After Action Reviews for learnings to be applied to future projects.
