Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary up to £37,257.54 per annum, plus, company van & fuel card

We are the largest provider of repairs and maintenance, and regeneration services across the UK. Mears provide tailored rapid-response and planned maintenance services through partnering arrangements with more than 70 local authorities, Arm’s Length Management Organisations and Housing Associations.

About the Role:

As a Plumber within our Rotherham branch, you will be part of a local team undertaking high standard Plumbing repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards. The main duties will include plumbing repairs including faulty flush, finding leaks, broken sanitary wear, skins toilet and pipe works. You will also be required to do small scale plumbing renewals.

There is an expectation that any candidates will need to undertake OOH duties.

Role Criteria:

  • NVQ or City and Guild equivalent in Plumbing
  • Experience in plumbing
  • UK full driving license
  • Social housing experience
  • Good customer service skills
  • IT literate
  • Excellent communication
  • Experience in different trades or emergency call out is desirable but not essential
