Millimeter Wave IC Design Engineer (Principal Engineer) will design Beamforming Integrated Circuits at Millimeter Wave frequencies. This will include engaging with the marketing team and customers to define specification requirements; envisioning suitable design architecture, doing trade-off studies and comparative analysis to finalize the IC architecture; and leading a team of design, layout and verification engineers to complete the IC design. Further design responsibilities will include designing IP blocks such as Time Delay Unit, Phase Shifter, Digital Step Attenuator, Amplifiers and other building blocks at these frequencies. The design team that you will work with develops high performance beamformer ICs for commercial, military, and satellite applications. The position requires design and analytical skills and proficiency with CAD modeling tools applicable to active and passive IC design, such as Cadence, and Spectre RF, ADS, Momentum, HFSS etc.
The candidate will contribute in one of more of the following areas:
Qualifications: Masters or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering and 10 years of experience in Millimeter Wave IC Design.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
