Role Purpose
The Workforce Strategy & Intelligence specialist is responsible for turning workforce and labor market data into credible, decision-ready insights that inform business and talent strategy. This role ensures leaders have a clear understanding of where talent exists, how it is changing, and the implications for workforce decisions across geographies and time horizons.
This is a strategy-facing role that sits at the intersection of workforce planning, analytics, and business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce & Labor Market Intelligence
  • Develop deep expertise in internal and external workforce dynamics by skill, role, and geography
  • Monitor trends in talent availability, cost, competition, and skill evolution
  • Identify emerging workforce risks and opportunity areas
  • Model workforce scenarios and their impact on cost, risk, and business outcomes
Insight & Recommendation Development
  • Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders
  • Define workforce metrics and indicators that support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure insights reflect real-world labor market constraints and business context
Product & Analytics Partnership
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Data, and Engineering teams to shape workforce intelligence capabilities
  • Guide how insights are framed, prioritized, and presented to leadership
  • Validate analytical outputs for accuracy, relevance, and business usefulness
Executive Communication
  • Communicate workforce insights in clear, non-technical language
  • Support leadership discussions with fact-based perspectives and scenarios
  • Build trust in workforce intelligence as an input to strategic decisions
Required Experience & Skills
Experience
  • 7+ years in workforce planning, talent intelligence, people analytics, labor economics, or related fields
  • Experience supporting senior leaders with workforce or talent insights
  • Exposure to multi-location or global workforce environments preferred
  • Prior experience supporting workforce or talent initiatives within the technology or telecommunications sector is an asset
Skills
  • Strong understanding of workforce data, skills frameworks, and labor market dynamics
  • Sound analytical judgment and ability to synthesize complex information
  • Executive-level communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces
