Nature of Work:

This position involves legal research, writing and editing in support of projects relating to access to justice and competency-framing in legal education.  The primary research project relates to the legal regulation of 'smart legal forms', which are available through technology-enabled interactive online software portals. A secondary reserach project relates to comparing competency-framing of medical education and legal education. 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must submit a single application document that contains a cover letter (explaining qualifications and interest), a transcript or list of law school grades and an up-to-date CV.


REQUIRED : Law student who has completed at least first year with demonstrated strength in research and writing


REQUIRED: Knowledge and experience in relation to online legal tools and their regulation, especially in the area of family law.  Familiarity with medical education.


RELEVANT: Prior experience in researching access to justice issues.
