Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various welding techniques (TIG) to Certified Master Welder levels, torch brazing.
  • Design and build required tooling and fixtures.
  • Responsible for all required machining.
  • Plan work to meet schedule requirements.
  • Prepare purchase requisition to maintain shop supplies.
  • Maintain safe and neat work environment through good safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Process required documents as necessary.
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years’ experience in various welding techniques (i.e., TIG).
  • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to read and build from drawings, blueprints, sketches and other forms of instruction.
  • Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set-up parameters.
  • Ability to design and build required tooling and fixtures.
  • Knowledge of wire filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum and other materials.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to read small text and handwriting.
  • Manual dexterity required and able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently required to stand, bend and kneel.
  • The employee must be able to visually examine parts and documents.
  • The employee must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
