Position Overview
The Account Representative is responsible for expanding new business and renewals in key accounts to meet/exceed financial and business objectives. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets by up-selling, add-on sale, and cross-selling. This position reports to a Territory Sales Leader and will work closely with our Field and Inside Sales Teams, Autodesk Partner Management, Autodesk Channel Partners, and Autodesk Field Sales.
Responsibilities
Applies sales skills associated with a cold calling sales model; strong verbal and written skills required
Conduct outbound customer calls with a required minimum number of 60-80 calls daily
Understand customer issues and requirements in order to recommend a specific Autodesk product or industry solution
Maintain basic knowledge of Autodesk products, competitive products, and industry trends as well as Autodesk Subscription and Advanced Support
Maintain strong understanding of promotions and campaigns related to doing business with Autodesk and/or its Partners
Provide partner with the relevant information, understanding their business workflow to create and close opportunities
Utilize Salesforce.com to document all customer opportunities and customer activity
Maintain Salesforce.com opportunities using probability definitions embedded to categorize opportunities accordingly to accurately forecast against plans and targets weekly
Build strong relationships for business planning with each partner and with partner management team
Respond to partner and customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
Minimum Qualifications
Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. TAS
Familiarity with sales logging applications (i.e., Salesforce)
Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times
Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented
Highly proficient computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Database management a plus
