Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering projects that advance manufacturing technology platforms from concept through implementation
Manage project scope, schedules, risks, and resources to ensure successful delivery across multiple engineering teams
Oversee the design, integration, and evaluation of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and processes
Guide feasibility studies, proof-of-concept builds, and validation activities to ensure solutions meet functional and business requirements
Partner with cross-functional teams (Quality, Regulatory, IT, Operations) to ensure compliance with standards and smooth transfer of technology into manufacturing
Monitor and maintain technical documentation throughout all phases of development and deployment
Coordinate activities with outside suppliers, vendors, and consultants to enable timely delivery of project objectives
Provide clear project tracking and updates to leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and resource planning
Anticipate and proactively resolve technical or organizational challenges that could impact project execution
Foster collaboration across engineering, operations, and business functions to accelerate scalable technology adoption
Must Haves
Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of relevant engineering project management experience OR Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience OR PhD and 3+ years of experience
Nice to Have
Advanced in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration (MBA)
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical projects from concept through implementation
Experience managing engineering equipment or analysis projects within a manufacturing or technology development environment
Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
Hands-on experience with automation systems, machine vision, and/or computer vision technologies
Background in manufacturing technology development, equipment integration, or process automation
Familiarity with regulated industry standards (e.g., medical device, aerospace, semiconductor, automotive)
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence)
Proven ability to manage complex programs involving multiple stakeholders and global teams
Experience working with suppliers, vendors, or system integrators to deliver technical solutions
Strong problem-solving and risk management skills, with ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
Ability to balance technical depth with clear, concise communication to leadership and stakeholders
