Job Description
Campbellsville University invites applications for a Visiting Instructor of Chemistry for the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate must have the appropriate training, academic background, and experience to teach various Chemistry courses, including Organic Chemistry. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills will be required.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing lectures, demonstrations, assignments, and enrichment activities to successfully deliver course content.
Maintain regular office hours for assisting students.
Support the institution’s Christian mission.
Provide a Christian role model for students.
Maintain a strong interest in the pursuit of knowledge and share it with students and scholars.
Cooperate with other members of the Faculty.
Assist students by continually monitoring and evaluating students’ progress and making appropriate referrals to academic and personal support services, as necessary, to meet student needs.
Demonstrate excellence in teaching.

Education Requirements:
Ph.D. in an area of chemistry or a related field preferred, ABD or MS acceptable. Other professional degrees will be considered.
