The hours are flexible, but typically 8am-12pm (3 days per week) and one 8-hr day/wk (8a-4:30p) for a total of 4 days per week (20hrs). Flexible on the day off.
Pay Range
$22.90 - $34.35Major Responsibilities: Recruit and orient competent volunteers from within the community. Track and maintain volunteer information to ensure program requirements are met. 5)Develop training materials for and facilitate retraining sessions. 6)Distribute and track all active volunteer evaluations. 7)Manage the advertising of volunteer opportunities online. 8)Attend recruitment events. 1)Screen prospective volunteers by conducting interviews, conducting background checks and taking candidates through the on-boarding process. 2)Process all necessary documentation and maintain accurate volunteer records in database. 3)Collaborate with manager and coordinators to continuously improve recruitment and on-boarding processes. 4)Process and track all annual compliance requirements. Coordinate assigned volunteer assignments managed directly by the Volunteer Office and provide support to a selection of departments utilizing volunteers. 1)Provides training, coordination and support for volunteers assigned to those areas. 2)Round on assigned departments. 3)Offers recommendations for improving services and processes, while assisting in the development and implementation of aforementioned improvements for the areas. 4)Purchase supplies for supported areas. Support various daily volunteer office functions. 1)Provide phone coverage for volunteer office front desk 2)Assist with office mailings 3)Provide backup for volunteer coordinators as needed. 4)Various projects as assigned Education/Experience Required: • Associate degree • 2 plus years experience in customer service • 1 plus year supervisory/lead/ or equivalent experience.
