CACI is seeking a cleared Tactical Network Engineer for its program located at Ft Johnson, La. The position will support the Army PM Tactical Network. If you are looking for a new opportunity CACI would like to speak with you.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Provide communications engineering expertise to PEO C3T in pursuit of technical and policy solutions to tactical enterprise and local area C4ISR challenges facing the Army’s current and future forces.
- Requires technical expertise in the areas of communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support.
- Provide analysis and assessments and test evaluation of potential high payoff communications capabilities in support of the PEO C3T global warfighter C4ISR support plan.
- Support the client by performing tradeoff studies for system-level design and material acquisition of tactical communication systems implement and test such methodologies and devices.
- Monitor and respond to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems.
- Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degradation system performance.
- Provide quality assurance review and evaluation of new and existing software products.
More About the Role:
In this position, you should be an SME about strategic areas of SoS architecture development including next-generation technology insertion strategies, and integration planning of future C4ISR capabilities.
This position is available upon contract award.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- BS Degree and Eight years of Relevant Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or 8 years of additional relevant experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher tier Cisco certification.
- Strong background in satellite communications (SATCOM) systems, telecommunications, and IT equipment.
- Experience in assessing, recommending, and testing equipment for SATCOM asset enhancement and maintenance.
- Proficiency in developing, modifying, and executing test plans.
- Knowledge of satellite systems, terminals, modems, software, and programming.
- Familiarity with Spread Spectrum Multiple Access (SSMA), CDMA, FDMA, and TDMA transmission systems.
- Skilled in operational and system test support, including analysis and documentation of test results.
- Ability to test software applications for operational and functional requirements.
- Expertise in ensuring interoperability and integration of software applications and systems.
- Strong technical writing skills for detailed test reports.
- Experience with Internet Protocol (IP) over satellite test environments.These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,000 - $136,500
