About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager, IT Audit, the Senior IT Auditor will assist with the scoping and documentation for information technology and data security audits relating to the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the US with manager's approval.

You Will:

  • Responsible for IT risk assessments, management, and enhancing IT policies and SOPs to ensure corporate compliance.

  • Drive the development of IT security-related processes, risks, and controls for IT-dependent business processes.

  • Evaluate and ensure remediation of identified control deficiencies in a timely manner.

  • Support and monitor the SOC review program, including obtaining relevant SOC reports, coordinating review performance, and providing status updates.

  • Monitor emerging risks, as well as drive the management of internal and external control design for new products, processes, and system implementation.

You Have:

  • Position requires Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field, and 2 years of experience with internal and external auditing of complex IT environments of publicly-traded and regulated companies.

  • 2 years of experience with developing IT audit documentation, including data and business process flows;

  • 2 years of experience with overseeing IT risk assessment projects involving general computer control areas and the IT governance framework (COBIT), Sarbanes Oxley, PCAOB, and the COSO framework;

  • 2 years of experience with evaluating IT security and controls on on-premise, homegrown, and cloud-based technologies, with experience auditing DevOps and CI/CD environments that leverage AWS;

  • 2 years of experience with performing audit-based data analytics on financial technology, including applying audit and compliance management tools, including AuditBoard; and

  • 2 years of experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, JavaScript, Oracle databases, SQL, and Python.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $113,755.00 - $145,000.00 per year. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
