Responsibilities
•Spends at least 10% of time customer facing. Meet with Hospital Presidents / CTO / CIOs to understand their HIS technology needs in 1 year, 2 years and 5 years. Maintain the above relationship with quarterly calls
•Develop Technology blueprint / GAP analysis for SEA clients. Understand the development blueprint that Global is following, and stay close to this. Be the SEA voice with global development and compare and contrast envisaged global system with SEA needs and help make the decision on what is best for SEA clients
•Build, develop, coach and manage the development headcount dedicated to SEA. This includes all Talent Acquisition, HR and finance processes. This also includes regular alignment with the SEA GTM team and the Head of Operations to ensure that we have the required resource and skillset to support live and pipeline implementations
•As Head of HIS Tech for SEA, assumes overall responsibility for creation and delivery of development milestones for all implementations in SEA. This will include review and agreement on JIRAS (including timely feedback to align on the specificity of the requests), provision of target delivery dates that are fair to client and IQVIA
•
Supports the SEA delivery teams in explaining, and when required, defending development timelines to clients
•
When required, provides knowledge and expertise to help in the first level triaging of client queries so as not to incorrectly assume that the issue lies with IQVIA HIS
•When required, to be the face of IQVIA HIS Technology at industry conferences, events and speaking engagements
•Ensure system security: Ensure that existing systems are secure and efficient.
•Contribute to organizational efficiency: Contribute to the organization's efficiency and effectiveness
Bridge the gap between management and technology: Operate within the IT category/team, bridging the gap between management and technology.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience
Typically requires above 12-18 years of experience in IT related role, with at least 5 years in management position. Strong knowledge in SDLC and processes.
Knowledge
Requires extensive knowledge of multiple job areas obtained through advanced education and experience.
Viewed as a leading expert within the field by peers.
