U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Data Analytics Manager (Multiple openings) in Minneapolis, MN.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for providing digital analytics support as part of the Digital Analytics team within a marketing studio model, and for understanding digital analytics as well as paid media and advertising platforms and unlocking insights to drive digital marketing in an agile team environment. Specific duties will include the following:

  • Work in a consultative role and be hands on with both structured and unstructured data to deliver analytical insights through dashboards and visualization tools;
  • Apply understanding of digital marketing in paid as well as owned channels, consulting with onsite marketing teams as well as potentially offshore analysts to drive digital campaign segmentation and targeting strategies;
  • Utilize knowledge of customer data platforms and digital analytics tools (specifically Adobe Analytics) as well as knowledge of cookies/identity solutions to perform the duties of the position;
  • Be responsible for delivering insights and providing actionable recommendations based on reported results, benchmarks, discovered patterns and all necessary context;
  • Identify, anticipate and resolve gaps in web analytics/tagging for successful downstream measurement of marketing campaigns;
  • Develop measurement frameworks for paid media campaigns to identify opportunities for optimization as well as continuous learning via test and learn discipline;
  • Support and advise media strategy and execution teams on test design, execution, and recap analysis;
  • Pursue deep understanding of the web analytics, tagging, data management and site personalization/optimization tools to identify untapped opportunities (specifically driving towards utilization of AI/ML driven capabilities) and tracking/ understanding/ taking action on new features as they roll out;
  • Collaborate with media and advertising partners where necessary to ensure common understanding and utilization of targeting, analytics and reporting;
  • Use the following technologies, tools and skills to perform the duties of the position: Tableau; Adobe Experience Platforms; Google Analytics 360; Python; SQL; R; Google Cloud Services; SAS; dashboard design; analytical storytelling; team management and development; data management consulting; experiment design; hypothesis testing; analytics process design; digital marketing platforms.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Computer Science and 5 years of data analytics experience.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 3 years of experience with each of the following: 1) Working in a consultative role and being hands on with both structured and unstructured data to deliver analytical insights through dashboards and visualization tools; 2) Applying understanding of digital marketing in paid as well as owned channels, consulting with onsite marketing teams to drive digital campaign segmentation and targeting strategies; 3) Being responsible for delivering insights and providing actionable recommendations based on reported results, benchmarks, discovered patterns and all necessary context; 4) Developing measurement frameworks for paid media campaigns to identify opportunities for optimization as well as continuous learning via test and learn discipline; 5) Supporting and advising media strategy and execution teams on test design, execution, and recap analysis; 6) Using the following technologies, tools and skills to perform the duties of the position: Tableau; Adobe Experience Platforms; Google Analytics 360; Python; SQL; R; Google Cloud Services; SAS; dashboard design; analytical storytelling; team management and development; data management consulting; experiment design; hypothesis testing; analytics process design; digital marketing platforms. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.

This position is with U.S. Bank National Association, a U.S. Bank company. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $139,298 - $171,000. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
