Role Summary
The Workday Business Systems Analyst will work closely with our business partners to provide functional and technical support for all HR initiatives within the Workday application. This position requires someone with an in-depth knowledge of the Workday application and strong understanding of best practices within the Workday framework. The person in this role will partner closely with our user base to provide day to day support, implement product enhancements, and provide clear and concise operational workflow documentation.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a small team of Workday professionals supporting HR and Payroll initiatives
Provide day to day support for functional & technical questions on Workday
Triage support tickets opened by HR and Finance teams to assist with trouble shooting and workflow efficiency
Manage and configure updates to Workday by partnering with the HR, Finance and IT teams, documenting requirements, tracking requests, and managing updates and delivery
Work closely with team on planning and designing application changes (including upgrades) and coordinating on delivery and deployment processes
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high quality prior to deployment
Provide effective custodianship of sensitive processes and data as part of day to day configuration and business analysis
Support projects to roll out new modules and functionality including requirements documentation, design, UAT testing, implementation and training. Modules will include Core HCM, Benefits, Learning, Compensation, Recruiting, Payroll, Talent and Integrations
Assist in the coordination of maintaining issues and enhancement lists
Research new releases and upgrades, and collaborate with the Workday team to provide recommendations regarding their use by the organization
Support integration management; understanding current interfaces, support new interface development and validate requirements
Assist with the development, enhancements, and updates to HR metrics, dashboards, and reports for distribution
Assist in developing user procedures, guidelines and training materials within Workday
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Computer Science or related concentration is required
A minimum of 2 years of experience on the Workday platform with experience on the HR domain
Ability to have the utmost discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information
Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, communication with other IT members, business users, upper management and support consultants is a large part of this role
Strong organizational and documentation skills are required.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with users and provide a high level of customer service in a friendly, professional manner
