About the Role

This is an exciting time to join GSK, as we are growing our Medical team in preparation of bringing innovative new products to the Australian market. We currently have a fabulous opportunity for a Senior Medical Affairs Manager/Advisor to join our innovative and industry leading Vaccines team. In this key strategic role, you will bring medical leadership and technical expertise to the medical affairs team and other internal business partners.

As a key driver of external engagement and stakeholder management in the Vaccines space, you'll work closely with your wider medical field. Your dedication to developing an extensive knowledge of relevant therapy areas will play a crucial role in enhancing GSK's reputation among key influencers.

Your role will be varied and will include;

  • Develop and execute medical strategy and tactics to support GSKs objectives
  • Engage with external experts within your wide network to facilitate scientific dialogue
  • Lead strategic medical projects, collaborating with colleagues across GSK and external stakeholders to support patient outcomes
  • Provide medical expertise for scientific submissions and promotional activities
  • Be part of and provide leadership to the launch excellence team that continues to bring the GSK pipeline to patients

About you?

To be successful in the role, you will be a well networked and strategic medical manager with knowledge and expertise in Vaccines.

You’ll also have;

  • Have the ability to use medical knowledge to transition between therapeutic areas
  • Proven experience in engaging with specialists and healthcare providers
  • Be experienced leading highly technical teams
  • High levels of ethics and integrity putting the patient at the heart of all decisions
