Job Summary

As a Senior Backend Developer (6568), you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.

Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Architecting and developing robust and scalable server-side software solutions using various programming languages such as Python, Java, etc.
• Implementing strong security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent common cyber attacks.
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing code and infrastructure to improve the speed and efficiency of the system.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong problem solving and coding skills.
• Experience with C,C++, Java, Python or Go.
• Experience with micro-service architecture and systems design.
• Experience developing highly scalable backend microservices.

Nice to have:

• BS, MS or PhD degree in computer science, related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of data structure and algorithms and an ability to use them practically when implementing solutions.
• Experience shipping high-quality product features on schedule.
• Experience handling complex problems at scale.
• Experience with one of the following databases: MySQL, Oracle.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience with leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
• Knowledge of the logistics and freight industry is a plus.
• Experience with React is a plus.
