Job Summary:

The Agent Services Consultant position will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of the sales operations function in support of the administration of agents, agencies, banks, broker dealers, and independent marketing organizations.  This position will review, execute, and support the operational needs for the business.  This role will process, support, and help develop the operational processes for agents by utilizing a newly developed service platform which would include processing functions, operations, and customer service.

Main Accountabilities:

The Agent Services Consultant will focus on Processing Onboarding and Quality Assurance or Agent Maintenance.  They will be a subject matter expert in multiple processes and be able to navigate through complex processes.    

This position has a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Implement processes and procedures to ensure the accurate and efficient administration of policies including entry of licensing and appointments of agents, and the management of agent complaints.
  • Provide information agent licensing and maintenance.
  • Provide technical support regarding the set up of agents and maintenance in a newly developed system
  • Support policy deployment in the areas of customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, and on-site performance measures.
  • Support external vendor arrangements to accomplish identified operations requirements, including inbound mail processing, outbound correspondence generation, check printing, and other administrative functions as necessary.
  • Support both Agent/Advisors and Clients with all new business operations.
  • Assist in special projects as needed.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of experience/ advanced level degree a plus
  • 5+ years of operational/customer service or processing experience or a combination is preferred.
  • 5+ years relevant operations experience required in financial services and/or insurance.
  • Series 6 or 7 preferred
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of the annuity market, with specific focus on the fixed, fixed indexed and variable annuities
