bp Legal Intern – Oman

bp has a strong presence in Oman, supporting complex energy projects. Our legal teams play a key role in ensuring that all activities are conducted with integrity, compliance, and strong governance, supporting safe and effective operations.

Role overview

As a Legal Summer Intern, you will support the legal team in providing advice and ensuring compliance across business activities. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical experience and understand how legal processes support commercial and operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support legal research and analysis on a range of topics
• Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and documentation
• Help ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Support document management and record-keeping
• Contribute to risk and compliance activities where applicable
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business needs

Who we’re looking for

• Students in years 3 and 4 of undergraduate studies
• Studying Law or a related discipline
• Minimum GPA of 2.8
• Omani nationality (citizenship required)
• Strong interest in corporate law, compliance, and risk management
• Good analytical, research, and attention-to-detail skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
