Growth & Marketing
Nasdaq’s Financial Technology business is redefining how global financial institutions modernize markets, manage risk, and harness data. With more than 3,800 clients in over 70 countries, we are building a modern marketing organization that elevates our brand, positions our portfolio for growth, and shapes the future of the industry.
As Director, Content Strategy, you will own the portfolio‑level content strategy that brings Nasdaq’s Financial Technology narrative to life. Your work will fuel both early‑funnel engagement and long‑term brand impact. This role has two core responsibilities:
Position Nasdaq as the platform of choice through conceptual storytelling and thought leadership that elevates brand perception and deepens understanding of our modernization agenda. Feed the GTM engine with trend‑driven, persona‑relevant, best‑practice content that accelerates awareness, contact acquisition, and demand generation.
Operating at the center of a highly collaborative marketing ecosystem, you will work across Revenue, Product, and Retention Marketing to ensure insight‑led, portfolio‑aligned content is seamlessly integrated into full‑funnel campaigns, helping drive net‑new acquisition as well as upsell and cross‑sell expansion.
You will lead a team of three and serve as a center of excellence for modern, AI‑enabled content development.
What You Will Do
Lead the Portfolio‑Level Content Strategy
Translate the Financial Technology narrative framework into an integrated, insight‑driven content strategy.
Create content that elevates Nasdaq’s financial technology story and setting a foundation for demand generation.
Develop an editorial vision that integrates trends, regulatory themes, buyer needs, and market developments into cohesive storytelling.
Create Thought Leadership & Best‑Practice Content
Produce high‑value content that shapes market conversations: trend reports, executive viewpoints, best‑practice guides, infographics, eBooks, and multi‑media storytelling.
Develop content that provides strategic “air cover” for GTM teams, helping open and advance executive‑level conversations.
Tailor content to priority personas across capital markets, FMIs, banks, brokers, and risk/surveillance leaders.
Build & Lead an AI‑Enabled Content Engine
Deploy AI‑enhanced workflows for research synthesis, message testing, competitive intelligence, drafting, editing, tagging, and optimization.
Establish governance and quality practices to ensure responsible, accurate, and brand‑safe use of AI.
Equip your team and broader marketing partners with modern AI‑forward content development capabilities.
Establish Content Operations, Standards & Measurement
Lead the planning, prioritization, and execution of a portfolio‑wide editorial calendar aligned to business priorities, campaigns, and GTM motions.
Implement systems, standards, and SOPs for requesting, producing, reviewing, distributing, measuring, and retiring content.
Audit the in‑market content landscape to identify gaps across personas and buyer‑journey stages.
Partner with Performance Marketing to define KPIs and measure the business impact of content.
Lead & Develop a High‑Performing Team
Manage and develop a team of three content strategists and creators, fostering excellence, creativity, and operational rigor.
Partner with agencies, freelancers, and AI‑powered vendors to scale output and enhance capabilities.
Champion a culture of insight‑led storytelling, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
