About the Role
As eCommerce Junior Trading Manager -– you will be responsible for supporting the overall trading and sales on the Direct Web-shop for Dyson CEE (Central & Emerging Europe) markets (8 and counting).
Working with the Sr. Trading Manager, you will plan, lead, and deliver projects to drive the continuous improvement of the onsite experience and support the growth ambition of the Web shop channel as part of the wider Direct business.
Working with a cross functional team both within CEE Markets and with Group functions, they will coordinate to drive relevant KPIs:
E-commerce equation: ‘Sessions X conversion rate X Average Order Value’
Additionally, you will also be holding critical web shop performance (Volume, Gross Margin and Trading Profit) along with close coordination of Web-shop Experience manager to drive SEO performance, digital NPS etc.
As part of the role, there is a strong emphasis on developing two critical channels: Affiliates and CRM (including email, SMS marketing, etc.). The role requires full ownership of building these channels, coordinating their development, and being accountable for channellevel performance and revenue targets, with the aim of reducing dependency on Paid Media.
Affiliates:
Serving on CPA based model - drive the agency coordination, with publisher level insights;
Identify key new initiatives to scale the volume with the right commercials aligned.
Set up the affiliate channel for the new markets within the CEE cluster
CRM: With multi-machine ownership and prospecting as key initiatives to drive Direct web growth
Coordinate with key stakeholders to take live CRM for top markets in CEE
Manage end to end CRM operations – be hands on in building email templates, prepare content Calander along with Marketing interventions helping both lift NPS and drive additional volumes via the channel.
Drive business through CRM – maintain the CRM trading plan to email registrations, drive sales and improve retention
Drive business through optimizing the full potential of App – increase App registrations and optimize sales through existing app users.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end traffic planning, starting with stock alignment, promotions and detailed sessions required for the growth and driving E-commerce equation to focus on sessions, conversion rate and average order value. The other key skill/requirement would be to understand data and identify insights impacting business meaningfully. You will also be responsible for developing a clear narrative to present and engage all senior stakeholders in the ecosystem.
Work cross-functionally to achieve a seamless customer journey between traffic driving channels, onsite, eCommerce fulfilment and customer services.
Working closely with Group teams to launch key Direct exclusive campaigns or projects which contribute to growing the Direct business.
As Junior Trading Manager, we would expect you to proactively take on new activities aligned with your role, spot improvement opportunities, identify problems, and provide effective solutions.
About You
Previous experience (2-4 years) in eCommerce or digital roles in industries such as consumer electronics, consumer appliances, FMCG or comparable.
Experience of working in a sale driven environment with daily pacing
Experience working closely with and partnering with cross functional teams especially, Research and Insights, Digital Analytics, Product Owner, Creative and Category teams.
Thorough understanding of Digital Media, channel impact & optimization
Experience in a highly dynamic environment
Knowledge and understanding of major analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Decibel and similar tools
Knowledge and understanding of the principles of SEO
Able to organize own priorities and those of the team to align with business priorities
Project Management: scheduling, tracking, reporting
Works based on data but confident to trust on gut feel when time is essential
Articulate, able to communicate their vision and plans to others verbally and in writing
Confident and strong influencer who is prepared to take on challenges and drive successful outcomes
