About the Role
The purpose of this role is to partner with the business to provide specialist P&C advice, support and guidance on the effective execution of people processes including workforce planning and change, talent management, performance management (including guidance and support with ER matters) and to influence the overall culture and performance of the organisation. A trusted advisor to leaders in all matters People and Culture related, for their respective Division.
Provide professional human resource services that is consistent with St Vincent’s people and culture strategy.
Partner with the business on key projects and initiatives particularly in relation to organizational change
Drive a people and performance-focused culture by providing accurate, relevant advice and guidance in all aspects of P&C including IR/ER, OD, Attraction and Retention
Act as expert advisor to the business in the application of P&C/HR policies and procedures in compliance with awards, agreements, accreditation standards and legislation
Advise and assist with employee relations matters including supporting managers with performance and conduct matters, management of grievances and complaints, and undertaking investigations. This may include developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships with unions and representation on behalf of SVHA before the FWC
Engage and broker services from the broader P&C team to ensure the most efficient and accurate employee experience.
Use P&C/HR data (workforce metrics) to provide guidance for decision making and develop appropriate organisational people strategies.
Ensure the delivery of high quality on-boarding and ongoing development programs.
Coordinate staff reward and recognition programs, such as the annual Staff Service Awards.
In collaboration with the P&C Employee Experience team, facilitate delivery and implementation of P&C programs such as the Staff Engagement Survey and local Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
Ensure compliance with P&C/HR policies.

Demonstrated People and Culture partnering experience in a complex work environment – with experience in organisational design, ER advice and guidance.

Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain
