Client FRM drives efficient use of financial resources across all businesses within Citi, through Client and Product lenses. The group provides in-business leadership and subject matter expertise on capital, liquidity, tax and other financial resource management topics, and is further responsible for executing and managing credit hedges for the corporate loan portfolio.

You are looking for a commercially minded role to grow, expand and make your mark. You’re able to both execute technical projects and contribute to initiatives on bank strategy. You’re entrepreneurial, organized and can manage multiple pieces of work in parallel. You’re quantitative, and have experience in Banking, Trading, Finance, Treasury and/or Risk, including some exposure to Financial Resources Management topics (e.g. Liquidity Management, Capital Management and/or Asset-Liability Management). You have the interpersonal and networking skills to navigate the organization, and the drive to push projects through to completion.

Client FRM – Liquidity & Asset Liability Management (Liquidity & ALM) Strategy. The Liquidity & ALM Strategy team identifies and drives execution of commercial outcomes, through risk management strategies, model and methodology scrutiny, structured transactions, and other optimizations, delivering benefits across  Citi’s balance sheet, revenues and returns. Further, we coordinate and lead on projects to enhance our Client and Product frameworks, across Liquidity and ALM disciplines. We partner with businesses across Citi, and with Treasury, Finance, Risk and Technology.

Technical Skills

  • Commercial understanding of Citi’s businesses, and the importance of financial resources

  • Highly quantitative, data analysis skills, able to manage large and sometimes unstructured data sets

  • Some knowledge or exposure to one (or more) of: Liquidity Management, Asset-Liability Management, Capital Management, or broader Financial Resources Management or Treasury

Acumen and Problem Solving

  • Ability to understand complex ideas, unfazed by ambiguity, biased towards structure, attention to detail

  • Organized, self-motivated, curious and able to work on multiple projects with global teams in parallel

Communication and Partnership

  • Able to communicate complex and technical concepts to different levels of seniority and backgrounds

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, in person and over video, able to build strong working relationships

  • Highly collaborative and able to partner with other teams to navigate roadblocks and resolve conflicts

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and qualifications in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), Finance, Economics, Business, or another related field
