The Banking and International Risk Transformation Lead is a strategic professional who has experience driving large-scale change efforts. This individual requires excellent communication skills to negotiate internally, often across several organizations and levels. This lead will work directly with senior management to identify process reengineering opportunities and build business cases to justify policy, technology or other changes. Primary responsibilities include project execution, escalation management, stakeholder engagement, reporting and coordination.


Responsibilities:

  • Identifies stakeholders and key organizations to build and manage relationships.
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day technology and process reengineering deliverables.
  • Directs the creation of multiple programs of work in alignment with Banking and International Risk goals.
  • Leads the identification and drives resolution of issues, including those outside direct work purview.
  • Works with stakeholders to ensure program scope is clearly defined to meet objectives and address problem statement.
  • Works with Program Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with objectives.
  • Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program.
  • Assists program team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments in order ensure the program can be completed.
  • Identifies risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
  • Ensures program commitment from those assigning resources.
  • Exercises shared responsibility for budget, policy recommendations and planning.
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience driving large-scale organizational change, preferably with reengineering and technology deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to own deliverables end-to-end
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
