Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for dispensing and compounding medication, counseling patients on medication and health subjects; interpreting prescriptions, managing patient drug therapy for complications, and performing drug utilization. He/She collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other health-care practitioners to provide safe, high quality, and cost-effective drug therapy.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required)OPL - Ohio Pharmacists License - Ohio Board of PharmacyBS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution and a current Ohio pharmacist license. Completion of a Pharmacy Practice residency or equivalent hospital Experience . Pharmacology/Therapeutics for all age groups. Aseptic Technique and drug literature review. Previous hospital pharmacy Experience .
