Summary Responsible for providing highly skilled administrative and clerical support for the Commercial/Market Relationship Management teams by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Coordinates all aspects of loan closings, including correspondence with attorneys, appraisers and other outside professionals to ensure that deadlines are maintained. 
  • Coordinates with internal departments to ensure that all loan documents are prepared in accordance with deadlines.
  • Assimilates, files and distributes financial and collateral documentation to appropriate internal departments as needed once loans are closed.
  • Organizes and maintains customer files to assist Relationship Banker/Manager's ability to manage portfolios.
  • Serves as client relationship representative to all customers by listening, researching and addressing complaints and inquiries as needed.
  • Maintains current and ongoing knowledge of bank products and services; assists Relationship Banker/Manager with daily customer contact and servicing.
  • Provides ongoing support to commercial/business relationship managers for collateral and financial statement tracking and exception management.
  • Screens and routes incoming calls and visitors for commercial/market relationship team.
  • Opens new accounts when necessary.
  • Recommends and implements appropriate changes to establishment policies and procedures.
  • Promotes and cross-sells other bank products and services to improve client awareness and strengthen community knowledge of Origin’s products.

Education and/or Experience                                                     

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Computer Skills                                                               

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge of the Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.  Previous experience with banking/financial software helpful.  Ability to use basic office machines.  Ability to learn bank-specific software such as MPC, IBS, ADP, etc.

Knowledge of loan processing and collateral documentation.

Physical Demands  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
