Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with an industry-leading company? IQVIA is currently seeking several dedicated Dutch speaking Medical Data Annotators to work remotely/from home.

Position Details:

•            Location: Remote/Work from Home

•            Hours: min of 15-20 hours per week with flexible working hours, up to full time

•            Start Date: immediately

•            Duration: Approximately 12 weeks, with potential for future assignments

Role Overview:

As a Medical Data Annotator, you will play a crucial role in training and enhancing our AI model. Your responsibilities will include:

• Using an annotation tool to link report texts to medical concepts and/or ontologies
• Ensuring that all data is completely pseudonymized and maintain compliance with all data privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze, label, and structure medical data—including clinical text and electronic health records (EHRs)
• Participate in quality assurance, inter-annotator agreement reviews, and improvements in annotation procedures
• Interpret medical terminology and concepts, ensuring precise and consistent annotation

Candidate Profile:

• Background in medicine, nursing, biomedical or life sciences, health informatics, or related field
• Strong understanding of annotating medical documents and the complexities involved
• Familiarity with health domains, medical terminology, and medical reports
• Experience with ontology systems such as ICD-10 or SNOMED-CT is an advantage
• Experience working with EHR data
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills and a good team player
• Critical thinking, not afraid to ask questions and question the status quo
• Fluent Dutch language skills and ability to understand medical documents in Dutch

This role is well-suited for recent graduates or students of medicine, biomedical-, life- or health science or professionals with a medical background who are accustomed to reading physician's reports
