About the role & team

The Program Manager role sits within eBay’s Buyer Engagement organization and owns cross functional buyer engagement initiatives end to end.

You will be responsible for planning, driving, and optimizing buyer engagement programs, translating defined buyer and category strategies into impactful, engaging experiences that deepen retention, increase lifetime value, and strengthen emotional connection with eBay’s most valuable buyers. Through the adoption and application of AI-enabled capabilities, you will improve personalization, efficiency, and scale across buyer engagement experiences.

A key focus is driving eBay Enthusiast health and sustainable growth. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams across Buyer Engagement, CRM Marketing, Product Marketing, Categories & other global organizations to deliver experiences at scale. You will ideally be customer-focused, highly organized, comfortable owning outcomes, and energized by driving programs end to end in a fast-paced & changing environment.


 

What you will accomplish

  • Drive sustainable & healthy growth of the eBay Enthusiast population

  • Manage buyer engagement programs and workstreams end to end, focused on eBay enthusiasts across the customer lifecycle

  • Translate buyer and category strategies & insights into clear, actionable program plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics

  • Partner specifically with CRM and Product Marketing, Trading & Analytics to actively engage Buyers & strengthen loyalty of our eBay Enthusiasts.

  • Leverage data, insights, and emerging AI capabilities to enhance personalization, optimize engagement, and improve program effectiveness

  • Track program performance and work with analytics partners to assess impact, share findings, and inform ongoing optimizations
     

What you will bring

  • Project management or consulting experience in CRM, product marketing, lifecycle marketing and generally customer engagement

  • Understanding of customer lifecycle concepts, buyer segmentation as well as  engagement & loyalty strategies

  • Experience applying data, insights, and AI-enabled tools or capabilities to improve customer experiences or operational efficiency

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed, global organization

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives with shared dependencies and competing priorities

  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

  • Passion for ecommerce, marketplaces, and/or enthusiast-driven categories is a strong plus
