What you'll do:

OurTech & Innovation Team is looking for a manager and leader for our Startup Banking program who does things differently, who will go the extra mile to make sure our clients have the best chance of succeeding. Our ideal banker is someone who wants to be more than just a banker. They want to be a valued partner to some of the most innovative businesses in the country. We provide uniquely flexible financing solutions to companies in a wide variety lines of business.

The central focus of this role is on networking and working with partners and referral sources to explain how Bridge Bank will support founders and company throughout their life cycle.

What we are looking for:

  • Source prospects and develop new customer relationships

  • Actively partner with startup technology companies regarding their business needs

  • Maintain an effective calling program on customers, prospects and referral sources

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and make appropriate referrals

  • Complete understanding of internal Bank departments/process in order to complete job functions

  • Work with startup tech companies concerning business needs

  • Manage a team of business development officers and relationship managers.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years Banking/Accounting/Finance experience required with an emphasis on the Venture Capital / Technology lending ecosystem.

  • Understand and follow BSA/AML/OFAC policy and procedures as applicable to job function and promptly report suspicious activity when identified

  • Minimum of BS/BA in Business, Finance, Accounting or comparable degree

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, negotiating and problem solving skills

  • Previous relationship management and business development/sales skills are required

  • Clear understanding of financial statement analysis and strong accounting skills

  • Ability to make credit decisions

  • Understand loan documentation and credit policy

  • Excellent client service skills.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $175,000.00 - $210,000.00 for San Francisco, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
