What Is in It for You:

SLC Digital Solutions and Innovation (DSI) is looking for an integration specialist who will provide technical leadership implementing and integrating applications with our existing infrastructure. SLC DSI has several vendor applications and is focused on system and data integration spanning multiple technologies and business processes. 

This is a hands-on role that is accountable for providing technical leadership and detailed design delivery within projects and enhancements. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCEED:

  • Bachelors Degree in Technology or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive information technology experience with full application development life cycle and systems integration experience

  • Excellent working knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, including designing and tuning stored procedures

  • Solid experience and understanding of ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter

  • Experienced with distributed application architectures, Windows Server, and Active Directory

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style for technical and non-technical audiences

  • Able to work both independently and within a global multi-site and time-zone team

  • Proactive and self-directed with excellent organizing, planning and time management skills and able to progress on multiple assignments at once

  • Able to effectively operate at both a holistic high level, as well as deep in the details

  • Able to balance tactical and strategic objectives and think beyond the immediate need with ability to analyze situations/problems systematically and deliver effective right-sized solutions in a timely manner

  • Possess an inherent passion for continuous improvement and innovation

  • Strong experience with impact analysis and code deconstruction

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

  • Produce both high-level and detailed-level design documents

  • Provide technical leadership within projects ensuring the appropriate technical solution is being delivered, appropriate governance is applied, risks are mitigated, issues are resolved, and projects are successfully implemented

  • Provide estimates and contribute to defining timelines and project plans

  • Work with onshore and offshore development teams to ensure coding, testing, debugging and implementation activities are completed as required

  • Participate in both design reviews and code reviews

  • Work with external software vendors during vendor implementations, renewal activities and issue resolution

  • Support our operational team as needed with problem analysis, resolution, escalation and reporting

  • Transition projects and enhancements to our operations team

  • Assist SLC architects in developing strategies and roadmaps within the commercial mortgage and private fixed income accounts

  • Stay current with trends in emerging technologies and how they could apply to SLC Management

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with C++ and/or C#

  • Experience working with APIs

  • Experience with investments administration systems

  • Experience with vendors and ASPs

  • Experience in designing systems that use XML, XSLT or JSON

  • Exposure to PowerShell, Python or other scripting tools and techniques

  • Exposure to batch processing tools and concepts

  • Experience working in AWS environment

Salary Range

82,000/82 000 - 135,000/135 000

The Base Pay range is for the primary location of the job.  It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.  In addition to Base Pay, eligible employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.  Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
