Summary:
As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will serve as the vital link between clients and our systems or applications. Your day will involve engaging with clients to understand their needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that our world-class systems operate seamlessly. You will utilize your exceptional communication skills to provide quality support and maintain client satisfaction, while also leveraging your deep product knowledge to design effective resolutions for any challenges that arise.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching platforms with a focus on high availability and performance.
• Deploy and maintain Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches within data center networks.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco ASA firewalls/FortiGate Firewalls and Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) appliances, including policy configuration and advanced security features.
• Manage and optimize Meraki SD-WAN solutions.
• Provide Tier-2 support for complex issues in security, routing, and switching, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects, upgrades, and migrations.
• Assist with the basic configuration and troubleshooting of F5 load balancers and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine).
• Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience in routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP).
• Should have a Knowledge of Cisco Nexus 9K platforms and data center networking.
• Expertise in Cisco ASA/FTD and FortiGate firewalls including advanced security features.
• Experience with Meraki SD-WAN deployment and management.
• Solid troubleshooting skills across security, routing, and switching.
• Basic understanding of F5 load balancing and Cisco ISE.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Prime, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Ubiquiti UniFi wireless solutions and Extreme Cloud networking.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in Network Infrastructures.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
