Job Summary

The Senior Financial Manager plays a crucial role in guiding our organization’s financial strategy and operations. As the Sr Financial Manager you will be part of the multi-dwelling units (MDU) Finance and Operations team fully supporting the Communities Sales channel. This team manages all financial and operational responsibilities for our gated-communities segment and owns all critical functions from ROI/Termsheet Maintenance, to Contract Processing, to FP&A and Subscriber Reporting. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the customer life cycle within gated communities, including Deal Negotiation, Contract Management, Financial Analysis, and Performance Reporting. Your work ensures that financial decisions are well-informed, strategically aligned, and effectively managed. Key responsibilities are as follows:

Core Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze the return on investment (ROI) for ongoing deals and projects, adjusting strategies as needed; assess the financial viability of proposed deals through detailed analysis, including cost-benefit analysis and financial projections.
  • Engage with stakeholders (e.g., Sales Reps/leaders, Community Managers, Division partners) to negotiate terms and conditions favorable to the organization.
  • Lead the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvements; Compile and analyze subscriber data to track performance and trends.
  • Prepare detailed reports on subscriber metrics, including growth, retention, and churn rates.
  • Support strategic planning efforts with financial data and analysis.
  • Possesses understanding of Company policies and procedures and continually implements and reviews policies and procedures for consistency.
  • Trains, supervises and develops Finance staff. Manages the daily activities of the Finance team and makes suggestions to leadership for work performance improvement.
  • Makes strategy and operations decisions on the ground floor that directly impact business.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
