As a Developer Support Specialist, you will support Chrome Web Store developers who publish browser extensions and themes. Through email, you will resolve issues related to uploading, publishing and maintaining extensions. You will interact with the Policy Enforcement team, as well as key cross-functional stakeholders as needed, to help resolve developer inquiries. Successful applicants are customer-focused and passionate about assisting developers with timely resolution of their extension publishing issues.
Roles & Responsibilities: Lead AI-driven solution design and delivery by applying GenAI and Agentic AI to address complex business challenges, automate processes, and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows for measurable impact.
- Understand the issues presented by the developer, troubleshoot and communicate the solution back to them.
- Provide email support to developers in a timely manner
- Assist developers in interpreting the Program Policies and the Terms of Service- Identify developer s needs and collaborate on projects to improve tools and processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve support documentation
Professional & Technical Skills: Strong grasp of Generative and Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and AI evaluation frameworks. Ability to align AI capabilities with business objectives while ensuring scalability, responsible use, and tangible value realization. The candidate should be AI Native.
- Understanding of APIs, client-server communications, HTTP requests
- Expert in customized communications (both written & verbal) in English native-speaker proficiency desired
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally
- Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot customer issues quickly and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Understanding of customer support best practices and familiarity with customer support success metrics
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Static Application Security Testing (SAST), 2+ years of relevant industry experience (full-stack web development using JS, jQuery, angular.js, web/REST APIs OR equivalent development experience on other platforms)
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working with web technologies including, but not limited to: Javascript, HTML & CSS
