Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead the Personal Health commercial agenda, accelerate growth, and build strong customer partnerships in the Hungarian market.

Your Responsibilities

As the Sales Manager – Personal Health Hungary, you will:

Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and own the annual sales plan for Hungary, defining targets, actions, and channel priorities.

  • Drive execution of market strategies across retail, e-commerce, and specialty partners.

  • Ensure delivery of AOP revenue, profitability, and market share.

Customer Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and distributors.

  • Lead customer negotiations (pricing, promotions, joint business planning).

  • Monitor sell-in/sell-out performance and optimize business outcomes in collaboration with the trade and marketing teams.

Execution Excellence

  • Translate category and marketing strategies into impactful sales activation at the customer level.

  • Ensure perfect execution of promotions, launches, and strategic initiatives.

  • Oversee demand forecasting inputs and work closely with supply chain to secure product availability.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop the sales and account management team to drive capability and performance.

  • Promote a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Engage in regular funnel reviews, performance dialogues and capability development (aligned with Philips Sales Excellence frameworks such as CFS).

Business Analysis & Reporting

  • Provide accurate reporting of sales performance, competitive insights, risks and opportunities.

  • Leverage commercial analytics to improve forecast accuracy, funnel health, customer plans and profitability.

  • Prepare and present monthly business reviews to local and regional management.


You're the right fit if you have:

Experience & Background

  • 5+ years of experience in sales leadership in FMCG, consumer electronics, personal care, or a related industry.

  • Strong experience managing key accounts and developing customer strategies.

  • People management experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to drive execution and deliver results under pressure.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Fluency in Hungarian and English.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
