About the team:

The Enterprise RFP Team at Worldpay manages Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for medium to large existing clients and prospective clients from all around the world. These merchants are a mixture of corporate and public sector companies. Working hand in hand with our Sales and Commercial teams and Solutions Consultants, the team manages circa $600 million worth of RFPs per year.

This position will be based in the UK, either London, Cambridge, or remote.

What you will be doing:

The successful candidate will be a talented and experienced Proposals Writer or Bid Manager with a track record of successful bids for large enterprise clients/prospects.

Responsibilities will include working with members of Sales & Commercial teams, Solutions Consultants, Legal, and Pricing teams to develop RFP support, putting together winning responses.

You will be responsible for producing professionally written proposals that clearly articulate our Worldpay value proposition. The responses should follow our tone of voice, copy guidelines, and brand, while being clearly tailored for these prospective clients.

This is a collaborative role that requires an ability to work under pressure, flexibly and handling demanding deadlines.

• You possess a professional level of written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
• Industry background is highly desirable from the successful candidate, enabling you to develop win themes and discriminators for Financial Services - Payments proposals
• You are familiar with the ways large corporate tenders are usually presented, often made of multiple, complex compliance requirements.
• You can demonstrate at least five years' experience in developing successful proposals.
• You are a highly determined and self-motivated individual, used to engaging teams towards deliverables, as you will be coordinating support from start to submission of the bid
• You should be able to think strategically about Worldpay, our mission and values, products, and roadmap, so you can translate these into your proposals and show why Worldpay is the best partner for payments
• Finally, the candidate must have dynamic interpersonal skills and be adept at engaging with stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for building and maintaining successful relationships with the teams they’ll be working with

• Proficiency in problem-solving and time management skills, managing multiple deadlines
• Willingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, while being able to start adding value to the team in a short space of time

Bonus if you have:

• Experience in the Financial Services industry
• Worked with Loopio or other proposal management software
• APMP or other relevant bid project management qualification
• Copywriting diploma or certificate  
• Project Management experience
